Planning Your Wedding Entertainment.

How long do the band play for?

5th Avenue Party Band normally Perform a 3 Hour Set which includes a 20min Interval. If your Wedding Meal is Booked for 5-30pm or 6pm you should plan to arrange the Music to start between 9pm & 9-30PM.

Take into consideration the number of Wedding Guests attending the Wedding and How long the speeches may take.Consult with your Event manager in the Hotel for approx times.

The Interval of 20min is taken to allow the Hotel staff to serve the Evening refreshments to your wedding Guest.The Band will leave Back Ground music Playing during the Interval keeping the Party Atmosphere Alive.Performance Times are Flexible so talk to us and we will arrange performance Times to suit your needs.

 

What music will the band play at the Reception.?

5th Avenue Party Band speacialise in Wedding Reception Entertainment.All the music they Perform is selected to suit a mixed Age group of Guests and encourage them out onto the Dance Floor.

We would advise all our Clients to email us a selection of songs they would like Played and we will do our Best to mix them into the Bands and DJs set throughout the Evening.See Sample Playlist.

 

Will the Musicians on the Night be the same Musicians I booked when viewing the Band?

The musicians that work with 5th Avenue are with us for many years.This is a Policy that has kept 5th Avenue one of the most consistent bands in the Wedding market.The Band line up does not change unless through illness,or a serious family event etc arises.Replacement musicians are available to us if this unlikely event occurs.We do not take Two Bookings for the One Night and then split the Musicians into different bands to perform at these Functions.

 

Do the Musicians Play their Instruments Live?

5th Avenue Party Band are a Live Band and all the Musicians perform Live.We are not a " Karaoke Band " performing to Backing tracks and Miming on Stage.

5th Avenue are Proud to be a " Live & Exciting Band ".

 

Do 5th Avenue Party Band Travel?

5th Avenue Party Band have Performed all over Ireland and abroad.We receive many Inquires to Perform at Wedding Reception and Corporate Functions throughout Ireland.

 

Do you supply DJ Entertainement for after the Band?

5th Avenue Party Band have their own Resident DJ with them or you may supply your own DJ.

If you book the bands DJ he will set up with the Band on their arrival at the Hotel. There will be no Interval when the band finishes as the DJ starts his performance immediatey keeping the party Atmosphere created by the Band Alive.Performance Times for DJ are normally 12 Midnight to 1am - 1-30am or 2am depending on the Bar Extension you have arranged with the Hotel.Performance Times are Flexible so talk to us and we will arrange performance Times to suit your needs.
